LOVE series 2022/23
In my series of paintings exploring the profound theme of Love, I embarked on a unique artistic journey that intertwined cutting-edge technology with the depths of human emotion. Embracing the power of Artificial Intelligence, I sought to reinterpret the universal feeling of love and all its components, using AI-generated images as a collective conscious from which I would springboard my creative process.
Through the use of AI algorithms, I generated generic starting images representing various facets of love—passion, compassion, seduction etc. These digital visions became a canvas for the collective essence of love, distilled from countless expressions, stories, and shared experiences.
But I didn't stop there. As an artist, I wanted to infuse each artwork with my own personal touch, to add a distinctly human and emotional layer to the AI's interpretations. I reached into my own experiences, memories, and connections to love, seeking to imbue each image with an authentic and heartfelt narrative.
The resulting artworks captured a cyclical nature of love and reflected on my personal view of its components.
In a world increasingly shaped by technology, this series serves as a reminder that art remains a quintessentially human expression—a reflection of our deepest feelings, yearnings, and vulnerabilities.
