Mothers, Sisters, Daughters

Mothers, Sisters, Daughters

This series explores the quiet, enduring bonds between women within the intimacy of family life. Through layered mixed media and portraiture, we reflect on tenderness, resilience, and the unspoken understanding that flows between generations. Each work captures moments of closeness; a gesture, a shared gaze, a protective embrace; revealing the empathy, strength, and beauty women bring to family dynamics. The textured surfaces and fragmented backgrounds echo memory and inheritance, while the faces remain present, grounded, and deeply human. Mothers, Sisters, Daughters is a visual meditation on connection, care, and the feminine thread that weaves families together across time.

This series was created in collaboration with Laleh Kiser, a Swiss artists.
